This year the Venice Carnival 2024 celebrates one of its greatest travellers, whose adventure fully embodies the spirit of the city of Venice: the curiosity, the desire to know and the resourcefulness of the Venetian merchants who are at the basis of a way of being that has characterized the entire history of the city.

On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of his death, the theme of travel, discovery and encounters with worlds previously only imagined. A path towards the imagination that will turn its gaze “Eastward” on the traces of the routes that the then young Marco undertook to discover new wonders.
